The club was known for its camaraderie and its commitment to supporting its members.In 1979, the Apple Dumpling Gang was featured in the film "The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again." The film starred Bill Bixby and Susan Clark along with child stars Clay O'Brien, Brad Savage, and Stacy.
The Apple Dumpling Gang was also featured in the 1980 film "The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again." The film starred Tim Conway and Don Knotts as the neer-do-well bandits Amos and Theodore.
