BOSTON, MA - Jaylen Brown put together a historic performance on Friday night, leading the Boston Celtics to a 126-110 victory over the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 of their second-round series. Brown erupted for a game-high 40 points, helping the Celtics take a commanding 2-0 series lead.

Brown was unstoppable from the field, shooting 14-of-23 and knocking down 6-of-10 from beyond the arc. He also added 7 rebounds and 5 assists, leading the Celtics in all three categories.

The Pacers kept the game close in the first half, but Brown and the Celtics pulled away in the third quarter. Brown scored 15 points in the third, including a pair of three-pointers, to give the Celtics a 90-75 lead.

The Pacers made a run in the fourth quarter, cutting the deficit to 110-98 with just over five minutes remaining. However, Brown answered with a pair of free throws and a layup to put the game away.

Jayson Tatum added 26 points and 10 rebounds for the Celtics, while Malcolm Brogdon led the Pacers with 22 points. The Pacers will host the Celtics in Game 3 on Sunday night, looking to avoid falling into a 3-0 hole.
